About our Creative Director
With over 13 years of experience in graphic design, web site design & marketing, Russell Rebelo, has worked worldwide for various advertising agencies. Prior to moving to Maui, he spent many years in London where he worked for
one of London's leading advertising & marketing agencies. His portfolio of clients included Disney, Buena Vista Home Entertainment, Chrysler/JEEP, Kraft Foods, Maserati, Budweiser, London Zoo, Thames Water, Total (TotalFinaElf UK), Jim Beam and many more.
Working closely with the Disney teams, to ensure every communication was in the most appropriate taste, and had the strongest; effective appeal, Russell helped oversee many marketing and promotional campaigns for Disney including such DVD releases as: "Pirates of the Caribbean", "Beauty and the Beast," "The Jungle Book," "Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs," "Peter Pan", "Toy Story 1 and 2," "Monsters, Inc.," "101 Dalmatians," "Mary Poppins," "Finding NEMO", "Signs," "The Others," "Gone in 60 Seconds," and Many, Many more.
He also worked on developing Disney UK's groundbreaking 'Classics' branding, which uniquely positioned Disney's Classic Titles as the TRUE "Classics" that they are, to be enjoyed by kids of all ages and eras!
Since moving to Maui, Hawai‘i, Russell has had the privilege of doing creative and design work for such firms as Maui Visitors Bureau, Ka‘anapali Beach Resort Association, Kaanapali Beach Hotel, Friends of Moku‘ula, Maui County Office on Aging, and many others. Working with Karee Carlucci (former Executive Director of Lahaina Town Action Committee) on various projects, he has gained a vital appreciation and respect for the preservation of the Native Hawaiian Culture and language.
